Dog Rose – Roasa canina. Dog Rose is a commonly used native wild rose for use in prickly, secure country hedging, it is fast growing, tough, and works great as a defensive hedge. It flowers for most of the summer with clusters of pleasantly scented pale pink of bright white flowers carried by the prickly stems.
