Wild Plum – Prunus americana (Potted)

Description

The prunus americana or wild plum is one of the many variations in the Prunus family. This plant can either be a formidable thicket-forming shrub or an 6 meter high lone tree. This beautiful plant will flower with a large cluster of small white flowers in a pentagonal pattern. The wild plum fruit when ripe will be bright red and almost twice the size of regular cherry tomatoes. As a shrub like plant, the wild plum will grow anywhere where there is moist damp soil with access to light.
